The blade in the dark follows the story of four friends with different ambitions. Three are encouraged by young entrepreneurs smuggling cash into Tirana, Albania, plans to turn the forgotten War-Ira bunker on the outskirts of the city into a trendy new restaurant. But the fourth is a desperate person who wants to do everything he needs to arrange a dangerous debt with a ruthless local mafia chief. When a group hunts one at a time, a sawmill’s cool story begins to unfold, revealing a twisted tale of violence, revenge and madness. Without escape and without hiding anywhere, friends must face their deepest fears and combine the truth until they become other victims.
